How do I get involved?
Start by uploading your vehicle to our database by creating an account on our website and navigating to the Add Asset page. See our "How it Works- Vehicle Owners" page for more information!
How do I know what the productions are looking for?
Just submit it all! We will reach out when your vehicle fits the bill!
Is my vehicle good enough?
Yes! No running engine? No problem! Some cars are just for stationary use anyways. Upload your vehicle regardless, since you never know what it could be needed for! Some vehicles come back in better condition than they left in!
What should I expect?
When a production is looking for a specific vehicle(s), we will present multiple options to them that may fit the description. We will reach out when we want to present your vehicle from our database to confirm availability. The production will then review the presented options, and we will let you know whether your vehicle was selected, or if the production went in a different direction.
If your vehicle is selected, congratulations! We will then send you a contract, request a W9 for us to pay you, and send you the certificate of insurance for your records. We will be in constant communications with you throughout the project to manage expectations. We will handle transportation to and from the set, and your vehicle will be fully insured every step of the way.
To what extent will the car be used?
This varies on a case by case basis! Some cars are stationary background cars, and some are hero cars that will be driven. When there is interest in your vehicle(s) for a project, we will disclose to you the extent of use, and you can choose to accept or decline.
I uploaded my vehicle, now what?
Welcome to the C9PS Family! If this is your first time registering a vehicle with us, we will send you a welcome email with additional information. We will also send a monthly check up via email to make sure the vehicle is still in your possession to help keep our database up to date. There's nothing else that you need to do at this point!
Whenever there is a project that your vehicle may be a good fit for, we will contact you to confirm interest and availability before presenting it to the production! Once we present it, we will keep you informed on the status of the selection process and additional steps.
Why haven't I gotten a call about my vehicle yet?
Although we are always working on projects, demand varies for every vehicle. Sometimes they call for very specific vehicles, sometimes the description is very vague. We are constantly presenting vehicles from our network, and if there hasn't been a request for your car thus far, there might be a need for a future project!
What if something happens to my vehicle on set?
Every vehicle is 100% fully insured for the entire duration of our contract.
How much money does this pay?
Get paid hundreds of dollars per day of use! The pay varies based on type and use of the vehicle. The average for standard vehicles is around $400 per day, Luxury vehicles average around $750 per day, and the average rate for exotic vehicles is $1,000 per day. This may be more or less for your vehicle depending on varying factors. We will always discuss the budget with you when there is interest in your vehicle before you accept or decline.
How do I get paid?
We make payments out by check. We will send a request for a W9 form to be filled out upon selection of your vehicle. This is taxable income. We do not withhold taxes.
Is this legitimate?
Very! We understand that this may seem to good to be true, but we have over 15 years of experience in this industry! Check out our Completed Projects page to see some of the previous production companies we have worked with and some films that our vehicles have appeared in. We also have a 5 star google review rating from vehicle owners that we've worked with in the past!
I know people that might be interested, how do I get them involved?
We offer a finders rate for vehicles that are referred to our network and get used in a project. Learn more about our spotters program (coming soon!)
